Maceration on the skins varies for each variety that makes up this blend, about 15 days for Merlot, 20/25 days for Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, up to 30 days for Montepulciano. Ageing takes place in new 300-litre barrels for 18/24 months. The final blend takes place at the end of the ageing phase. Afterwards the wine stays in the bottle for 3 months.
