"Sole di Sesta" is a mineral and fruity Syrah from Castiglione di Sicilia, aged in first and second passage barriques. The aromas have an articulated and rich aromatic set, in which the classic spicy, fruity and herbaceous tones of the grape are recognized. When tasted it has depth and breadth, with young tannins and good freshness that make it a long-lived wine

Vineyards : In Case Alte, in the territory of Castiglione di Sicilia, at an altitude of 700 m. slm., with northern exposure
Vinification : Maceration and fermentation with the practice of delestage (extraction of the must from the cap of skins and subsequent re-immersion to favor an extraction of aromatic compounds and limit astringency in the wine)
Aging : 12 months in Allier barriques, 35% new and 65% non-first-pass, then 18 months in the bottle.
