Iskra Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Doc Riserva 2017 - Masciarelli

Fruit of 100% Montepulciano grapes harvested from a single vineyard in Controguerra on the hills in the province of Teramo, this wine tells with its dark ruby color tones, with its velvety softness and its intense aromas of ripe red fruit, one of the most interesting of the whole Abruzzo. The harvest, carried out in the first half of October, is followed by fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature and an initial refinement of 12 months in oak barrels. Finally, 24 months of bottle aging. Dense and full- bodied , it has vivid notes of blackberries, plums, blueberries and berries.
