“…18 years ago we asked the Nannoni Distillery to keep a selection of our Aqua Vitae; Sergio Manetti and his dear friend Alberto Manfredi, the 'painter of Montevertine ', as we affectionately called him, had recently passed away; our intention was to remember them, carrying forward this project very dear to them, which began in the early 80s together with the master distiller Gioacchino Nannoni. Alberto Manfredi asked us to engrave more than a series of fortified waters that accompanied the Aqua Vitae… For years we have waited with patience and many expectations for the maturation in cask of this selection and today, thanks to Priscilla Occhipinti of the Nannoni Distillery, granddaughter of Gioacchino , we find it ready to satisfy the most refined palates.
