Oban 10 Years Old Special Release 2022

The legend printed on the label for this Oban tells the story according to which one day a vivid ray of light opened the black sky above Oban, guided by this celestial being: a lively and energetic creature, transported by the stars, crossed the sky in a violet explosion, pouring its ethereal light onto the distillery. An intense vibration illuminated the grounds with shades of plum and blackberry, infusing Oban with an otherworldly sweetness such as had rarely been seen. The Oban 10 Years Old is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky, aged in a mix of ex-bourbon, ex-sherry Amontillado and virgin oak refill casks. This whiskey was bottled at full strength (57.1%) and without being cold filtered.
