Olio Extravergine di Oliva ottenuto da olive della monocultivar coratina, prodotte nelle Contrade San Domenico e Zagaria ad Andria, lavorate su antico frantoio a macine di granito ed imbottigliato nella masseria Zagaria con le caratteristiche tipiche della varietà e della zona di produzione.

For about 8 centuries the production of oil has been a ritual for Masseria L'Astore. The chapel of San Giovanni (13th C. DC ) with its Byzantine crypt, located on our estate, is historical evidence of the work of the Basilian monks, creators of the cultivation of the olive tree in the land reclaimed from the Mediterranean maquis. Olive growing is one of the oldest activities in Salento and the underground oil mill of L'Astore, which dates back to the early 1800s, was one of the most important processing centers in the area.
