From an ancient recipe rediscovered in an old publication dealing with liqueurs, the elixir of pharmacists was born. It is a liqueur produced by infusion of medicinal and stomachic herbs in alcohol such as absinthe, rhubarb, gentian, bitter and sweet orange, cascarilla. It has a strong flavor in which bitter notes prevail. Thanks to the properties of the herbs of which it is composed, it is certainly an excellent digestive and a thirst quencher with the addition of water.
