Amber, with golden reflections. The nose is rich and, at the same time, full of nuances; In particular, notes of honey and spring flowers, hints of red apple and passion fruit and tones of peat emerge. On the palate it is soft and is crossed by a savory vein; closes with hints of liquorice.
This limited edition is the result of the work of the Johnnie Walker team of experts, led by Master Blender Dr. Emma Walker. Port Dundas whiskeys have been carefully selected for their distinctive expressions, before being aged in two types of wood to impart depth and complexity. The first, a second-fill American oak, imparts a creamy vanilla sweetness. The second, a highly charred American oak, gives this Blended Malt Whiskey a subtle spicy and woody undertone.
