Denomination: Barolo Docg Variety: 100% Nebbiolo Vineyard: the vineyards are located in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto, the heart of the Langhe and the Barolo area. The exposure is East, West and South-West; the soil is clayey-limestone, with a depth of 0.5 meters on the marl. The rootstock is Kober/S04, with a density of vines of 4000/ha and an age ranging from 6 to 40 years. Grape variety: BOROLI Barolo DOCG reflects the traditional method of blending the best vineyards of Castiglione Falletto. The exposure is East, West and South-West and the soil is clayey and calcareous, with traces of sand. Vinification: – Crushing and destemming – Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 10-12 days at controlled temperature – Submerged cap maceration for 20-25 days. – Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. – Aging in large oak barrels (1500 – 2500L) for 18 months. – Aging at least 1 year in the bottle before being marketed Description: Bright red colour. The scent is reminiscent of fresh berries and sweet licorice. On the palate the velvety tannins make BOROLI Barolo DOCG the classic expression of Barolo in its balanced dialogue between structure and elegance.
