Grapes: Piedirosso (locally called Per and Palummo) 50% Aglianico 50% Production areas and municipalities: Cetara and Raito (fraction of Vietri Sul Mare) Exposure and altitude: Coastal terraces at 100/250 meters above sea level facing south Soil type : Dolomite-limestone rocks Training system: Pergola and/or atypical sunburst, espalier Plant density: 3000/3500 vines per hectare Yield per hectare of grape harvest: About 80 quintals per hectare (1.5 kg per strain) Organoleptic characteristics: Costa d'Amalfi Rosso has a very bright ruby red colour. The nose is characterized by notes of cherry and light hints of black pepper. The taste is balanced and persistent with elegant tannins.
