Produced only in years considered excellent and marketed when deemed ready, Montepulcicano Valentini is considered one of the best Italian reds that gives its best with long ageing.
It has a very intense ruby red color with garnet reflections, rich in extractive substance. Engaging aromas, from ripe currants to tobacco, from jam to spices, notes of cherry, tobacco and undergrowth. Soft and persistent, it has sweet tannins that create a very long finish.
