Curtefranca Rosso Zenighe DOC 2019 Magnum Bosio

DESCRIPTION: "Zenighe" takes its name from the homonymous production area located in Corte Franca, in the heart of Franciacorta. The microclimate particularly suitable for the cultivation of the vine and the careful selection of the grapes in the vineyard allow us to obtain a wine of excellent harmony and elegance. It has an intense red color, a strong aroma, initially of red fruits, followed by ample notes of spices and leather; on the palate it has an excellent balance between alcohol and acidity, elegant tannins and high persistence. It lends itself to long ageing.GRAPES: Cabernet Sauvignon 50%, Cabernetfranc 10%, Merlot 40%.YIELD/HA: 35 hlVINIFICATION: The grapes are subjected to fermentation and maceration in thermo-controlled stainless steel tanks, for a variable period depending on the variety from 20 to 30 days. This is followed by refinement in new French oak barriques for eighteen months and subsequently in bottles for another six months.WINE PAIRING: Excellent with red meat and game dishes.SERVING TEMPERATURE: 18-20°C
