Merlot Trentino DOC 2019 - Cantina Boem

Merlot is one of the best known and most appreciated vines in the world. From its grapes are produced wines with a soft and velvety organoleptic profile that meets the favors of a worldwide audience since it is cultivated in all five continents. Merlot grapes give their contribution in the blends by bringing roundness and drinkability to wines that are too angular but they can also be vinified alone like this beautiful example of Boem, obtained from hilly vineyards rich in alluvial debris. Their grapes are harvested by hand in the first week of October and vinified in vitrified cement tanks, where they remain on their lees for six months.Color of a beautiful ruby red. The nose shows hints of cherry and raspberry, rose petals and a slight sweet spice. On the palate it is soft and warm, with light tannins that close the circle of balance. Adequate finish with notes of pink pepper.Ideal on chicken with peppers but also with pork ribs in barbecue sauce.
