Francesco Massetti's Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Quarantacinque Selezione Luigi 2017 is a wine of great substance, offering the nose ripe aromas, red and dark fruit, Mediterranean herbs, in the mouth it has the pace and structure of a great aging wine which are balanced with freshness and tannin with a long persistence, wine of absolute value.
Vine variety Montepulciano Vinification Fermentation with the skins for the entire duration of the fermentation. A part fermented in steel and a part in concrete. Fermentation takes place spontaneously without the addition of selected yeasts. Colour: Intense ruby red tending towards purplish Bouquet: very persistent with marked hints of fruit in alcohol and red berried fruits, in the finish marked notes of cocoa and licorice Taste: wine which, despite its marked structure, is soft and harmonious. In the mouth the same sensations found in the sense of smell return.
