Roero DOCG Sru 2019 - Monchiero Carbone

Roero is a wonderful hilly area located in the south of Piedmont, an exceptional testimony to the historical tradition of vine cultivation, winemaking processes and a social, rural and economic context based on the culture of wine. Nebbiolo has always been cultivated on the Roerine hills and, thanks to the calcareous nature of the soils, wines are born rich in perfume, with ample body but well balanced on the tannins. Precisely the natural balance between body and tannins makes Roero "Srü" fully appreciable from its second year, able to give certain satisfactions, especially when names of the caliber of "Monchiero Carbone" are shown on the label. Uncork it for a nice dinner with friends and you will make everyone happy.With a soft, lively and brilliant ruby color, it presents itself to the nose with an intense and complex bouquet, with a slow progression of aromas that gives fruity flavors of plum, blackberry, raspberry, followed by an aristocratic vein of spices, licorice and a balsamic trail closing. The sip is soft, warm and sapid, with an elegant structure, with initially rough tannins, then increasingly soft and gentle. Persistent, with a mineral finish.Ideal companion to T-bone steaks or grilled sirloins, game and aged cheeses.
