The Langhe DOC Nebbiolo represents an immediate expression, pleasant and round of the Nebbiolo variety. The grapes used they come from vineyards located in various municipalities of the Langhe. Langhe DOC Nebbiolo Massolino is a good way to approach this prestigious vine, but also a real pleasure for those who are already experts and are looking for it a balanced and authentic expression. Soil type: medium-textured, tending towards calcareous. Vinification and aging: classic wine, produced with fermentation and medium length maceration (about 15 days). It ages in large oak barrels of Slavonia for more than 1 year and during its production cycle the maximum is set attention to all the details capable of giving elegance and softness to a Young Nebbiolo. Notes: wine that is strongly growing in popularity and esteem on all markets thanks to its balance and the charm of the Nebbiolo grape. Appearance: garnet red with variable intensity in relation to the vintage. Nose: delicate and pleasant, the predominant notes are raspberry and violet, with aging, very refined secondary aromas are imposed. On the palate: elegant and complete wine, with a captivating harmony. AND it is advisable to decant it and drink it at a temperature of 18-20°C. Wine for the whole meal, yes it expresses itself at its best when combined with rich and tasty dishes, with fresh pasta seasoned with rich meat or vegetable sauces, with red meat dishes, grilled or roast. Also excellent with cheeses, from soft to delicate ones blue cheeses.
