TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION Vineyard exposure: west. Soil composition: predominantly clayey. Vine density: about 4200 vines per hectare. Type of training: Gouyot. Harvest: early October. Vinification: after crushing with destemming of the bunches, the must is fermented in maceration with the skins, temperature controlled with frequent pumping over to ensure the right extraction of the color of the polyphenolic substances and of the tannins. The maceration lasts from 12 to 15 days. Aging: the wine ages in large barrels (2500 l.) for a period of 24 months. ORGANOLEPTIC CARD Denomination: Barbaresco DOCG Riserva Rabaja Grape variety: Nebbiolo Colour: brilliant ruby red with orange reflections. Bouquet: presents an elegant, composite and ethereal bouquet with aromas of violets, red fruit jam, pepper among the spices and vanilla, licorice. Taste: elegant, dry, balanced, with good structure and tannins. Wine of great harmony and great aristocracy.
