Ruby red wine tending towards purplish. Intense distinctly herbaceous and vinous aroma. Full, tannic flavour. It is a wine for red meats and roasts and also goes well with feathered game and aged cheeses.
GROUND: Hilly bottom, made up of stratified marls and sandstones depth and surface colluvials HARVEST: Manual, the harvest period is visually evaluated at the achievement of optimal ripening of the grapes, which in this area, occurs towards the first ten days of October. VINIFICATION: The grapes are destemmed trying to keep as much as possible the berry intact and thus sending it to a traditional oak barrel from 60HL for fermentation. Fullings are made by hand until the color and tannins are reached desired and finally it is pressed with a traditional press. The wine obtained in this way it is left to settle for a day, after which returns to oak barrels for the following 12 months of refinement. AGING: 12 months in 60HL oak barrels, 6 months in cement and 6 months in bottle before going on sale. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE WINE: Ruby red wine tending towards purplish.
