Impenetrable ruby red with hints of red fruits, sour cherries and hints of undergrowth; in the mouth direct, vigorous and never invasive; pronounced and persistent tannins, good structure; complex sense of smell.
"Formicoso" comes from grapes from the Municipality of San Mango Al Calore (AV), a small village in the DOCG Taurasi area, the clayey-limestone soils, the exposure and the 400 meters above sea level, give this wine character and a clear and defined personality.
