NOTES The Barolo Riserva Bussia Soprana Vigna Mondoca is an extraordinary wine and manages to synthesize the best qualities of Nebbiolo. From its grapes, a powerful and fascinating red is obtained. Only the best grapes pass the strict manual selection, after which they are subjected to a maceration that lasts for thirty days. The maturation takes place in oak barrels for about thirty-six months, while the refinement in the bottle is not less than twenty-four months. Barolo Riserva Bussia Soprana Vigna Mondoca is a label whose production requires time and dedication and, as such, should be tasted only on special occasions. It is a red wine with excellent ability to evolve: although it is already remarkable in its youth, it is preferable to let it rest for some time in the cellar, where it can remain for over twenty years.
AGING Refinement in 30 Hl oak barrels for about 36 months, then refinement in the bottle. In the best vintages, Bussia Vigna Mondoca is Riserva, with an overall stay in our cellar of 5 years.
