L'Amerighi's Apice is an intense and complex Syrah, born from a very suitable vineyard in Cortona, aged for 24 months in cement and tonneau and for over 2 and a half years in bottle. The bouquet is elegant and deep, with notes of wild berries, black cherry jam and balsamic herbs. The taste is powerful, fruity, spicy and very persistent.
The ruby red is vivid and deep to the eye. Ripe black cherry, dried plum, wild berry jam and raspberry jelly: the olfactory bouquet opens clear on the fruit, and then veers towards tertiary complexes of iron, leather, cinchona and black pepper, with balsamic notes to close the picture on the nose . Powerful and consistent on the palate, vibrant but well worked in the tannic texture, fresh and long lasting. PAIRINGS Excellent with meats, it is special with game and game. Perfect together with spit-roasted partridges.
