Traditional Vin Santo both in the blend, Trebbiano and Malvasia, and in the processing method. The grapes, harvested in early October, are dried on racks until December, and then softly squeezed. The must obtained ferments slowly and refines for 5 years in small oak barrels (kegs).
VINTAGE CHARACTERISTICS Mild and rainy end of winter and early spring by 10 days with temperatures above the seasonal averages. The rains in late May and early June were excellent and guaranteed a good water reserve for the plants. The hot summer months led to the ripening of the grapes in perfect conditions, guaranteeing an excellent harvest in terms of quality and quantities reduced by about 10% compared to previous years.
