Madoro Passito Rosso del Veneto IGT 2019 - Maculan

The Passito Rosso del Veneto IGT Madoro is a label signed by the Maculan company, a winery that manages to tell the Veneto territory, combining originality and tradition. This sweet wine is obtained from a very interesting blend of Marzemino, a native vine of the area present for 80%, to which a remaining 20% of Cabernet Sauvignon is added. This is how Madoro was born, a passito in a completely new version, able to surprise even the most expert palates with all the elegance that derives from Maculan 's production philosophy. After the rigorous selection of the grapes, the bunches are left to dry in the company's fruit houses for about a month and a half. Then the vinification takes place in steel, while the maturation lasts for about two years in French oak barrels at the first passage. The result is a red passito that is characterized by harmony and structure and is ideal to accompany even the most elaborate desserts.
