TYPE OF SOIL The different particles are characterized by a clayey - calcareous soil. It is a soil rich in skeleton, that is pebbles and stones in particular of Galestro, with fine clay, little endowed with organic substance, well drained, with an average available water capacity.
VINIFICATION Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with a capacity of 10,5hl
TRAINING SYSTEM Spurred cordon
COLOR Intense ruby red.
BOUQUET Intense hints of ripe fruit and notes of chocolate.
PAIRINGS Meat dishes, roast lamb, wild boar and ossobuco.
TASTE In the mouth it is complex, full, balanced and with velvety tannins.
NOTES Nittardi Riserva Selected is produced only in vintages of great quality. The selected grapes come from the southern side of the Vigna Alta, about 500 m above sea level. This meditation wine combines the inherent qualities of Nittardi's terroir with the philosophy of the oenologist Carlo Ferrini.
AGING 24 months of aging in French oak barriques and tonneaux. This is followed by 6 months of bottle aging.
