Enrico Gatti's Franciacorta Brut Millesimato is a sparkling wine of great elegance and refinement that comes from 100% Chardonnay grapes and which remains on its lees for at least 50 months. We are in Erbusco, in the heart of Franciacorta, in a small family-run business that has maintained a strong historical and cultural link with its territory since 1975 when Enrico decided to buy a small plot of land to plant his first vines and create, thus, the dream of a lifetime. It was then the children Lorenzo and Paola, with their husband Enzo, who carried on the project and brought the Enrico Gatti winery to its current level of quality. A quality that is distinguished by the exaltation of the territorial typicality. The Chardonnay vineyards from which this Franciacorta Brut Millesimato is born are located on the classic hills of Franciacorta and enjoy a morainic soil. The particularity of this sparkling wine from the Enrico Gatti house is that the must ferments for 70% in French oak barrels and ages for six months on the fermentation lees, while the remaining 30% is vinified in steel. Then follows a stay on the lees for at least 50 months. Delicate fruity and citrus scents thus develop, where the notes of peaches, pineapple and vanilla dominate, with a nice floral appeal and interesting mineral nuances. Color Golden yellow, with a very fine and persistent perlage Perfume Rich and complex, fruity hints of citrus, peaches, pineapple, and notes of vanilla, wildflowers, baked sweets and mineral nuances Taste Refined, with good sapidity and freshness, it is pleasantly fruity, with a long and slightly almondy finish
