Its bouquet is intense and complex, rich in aromas reminiscent of refined exotic spices, delicate rosehips and tropical fruits. It is also distinguished by its longevity, which guarantees enchanting drinking even after many years. Excellent as an aperitif, it goes wonderfully well with spicy oriental cuisine as well as with typical Mediterranean fish dishes such as seafood risottos and grilled shellfish. It should also be tried with blue or long-aged cheeses. It should be served at a temperature of 8-12°C in a medium-sized tulip-shaped glass with a re-closing mouth.
The seductive Traminer Aromatico is one of the most important varieties on the world wine scene. Although its cultivation is very difficult, it is a grape capable of producing authentic, enchanting wines when the area and climate offer the right conditions. VINEYARD PRODUCTION NOTES Variety: Traminer Aromatico 100% Type of soil: gravelly-clayey limestone Harvest time: second ten days of September TASTING NOTES Colour: straw yellow, with old gold highlights. The colour of this wine is due to its skin tending towards pink and giving it a yellow hue when charged. Aroma: intense aromas with characteristic floral hints of pink petals, sensation of tropical fruit with a finish reminiscent of refined spices such as nutmeg and aniseed. There are also herbaceous notes of sage, mint and Terry. Taste: fine, fully aromatic and delicately mineral. Velvety and savoury finish with a long persistence.
