This edition of Concours - the most important international wine competition dedicated to quality wine - saw the participation of over 7,000 wines from 40 different wine-growing countries and territories of the old and new world. The international tasting panel of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, made up of industry experts representing 45 nationalities, elected Fileno, the Sicilian company's flagship Grillo, the best white wine in Italy, thanks to the high score obtained in seat of evaluation of the jury which - let us always remember - carries out all the operations blindly, without knowing any data attributable to the producer or to a specific territory.

The Grillo Fileno of CVA compared itself with the best Italian productions - native and international - and prevailed, it would seem also in a clear way, obtaining, in fact, from the five juror examiners, a more than unanimous response, so far ahead in the score, to be conquered the Grand Gold Medal and the highest score ever in the type of white wines, obviously Italian.
