Ribolla Gialla is an autochthonous vine of the Collio area which in all probability derives from the "Robola" grapes of the Greek island of Kefalonia, it was brought by Venetian merchants at the time of the Serenissima among the soft hills of Friuli where it is the undisputed protagonist today.
