The South Tyrolean workhorse par excellence reproposed by the Pacherhof winery as a white of extraordinary elegance and aromatic complexity: Gewürztraminer Mitterberg. Following the hand-picking of the grapes at the end of October, the must undergoes slow fermentation in stainless steel. Subsequently the wine is aged for 7 months in steel tanks on the fine lees. In the glass this Gewürztraminer makes its entrance dancing with a bright yellow coat. Brought to the nose, however, a fresh and delicate aroma unfolds, marked by a bouquet of floral notes, ripe exotic fruits and elegant citrus notes. Finally, on the palate it reveals a pleasant softness and a lively fresh acidity which flow into a long finish marked by a pleasant bitter note. There are numerous combinations: from fish-based dishes and spicy cheeses to desserts. Its well-spicy scent and taste finally conquer several dishes of Asian cuisine.
