Traditionally, Moscato is also grown in Serralunga
D'Asti DOCG. We have been making it since 1993. Sweet, fragrant and…
We also take great precautions for Moscato d'Asti DOCG. From cultivation
of the vines, to the work of the Cellar, each step is carefully followed to give back
even the most delicate notes in the glass.
Soil type: medium-textured, tending towards calcareous.
First year of production: 1993.
Vinification and aging: takes place in autoclaves and is aimed at preserving all
the typical fragrance and aromas of the vine, enhancing the marked notes of sage and mint
conferred by the land.
Tasting characteristics
Appearance: brilliant straw yellow, with the presence of a good and fine perlage
persistent; maintains a limited pressure, as tradition recommends
this wine.
On the nose: captivating, of great freshness and intensity, it reveals fruity notes decided between
which undoubtedly prevails sage.
On the palate: broad and enveloping, it is not excessively sweet; and naturally
the typical aroma of Moscato grapes predominates and has a very long finish
delightful.
It is advisable to drink it at a temperature of 9-10°C. Goes superbly with
desserts, such as the classic Langhe hazelnut cake or the apple and pine nut cake,
lemon cake, fruit puff pastries and the traditional Christmas panettone. It shows,
however, really particular and suggestive when combined with aged cheeses and
slightly spicy. To fully appreciate the fragrance of this wine,
we recommend uncorking the bottle at the moment.
