È un liquore conosciuto in tutto l’Abruzzo, a base di amarene e vino rosso ottenuto da uve del vitigno Montepulciano. È tradizionalmente prodotta ponendo amarene mature intere o snocciolate e zucchero dentro recipienti di vetro esposti al sole per circa 30 giorni, al fine di favorire la fermentazione. Al prodotto così ottenuto si aggiunge poi il vino Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC, lasciando macerare e agitando periodicamente fino a maturazione. Il prodotto è poi filtrato e imbottigliato.

“RATAFIA dolce” is the result obtained from the perfect mix between the intense and aromatic characteristics of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo wine and the light and fruity ones of black cherries, which give the liqueur a unique aroma and a delicate taste.

Ratafià is a liqueur that has always been present in the Abruzzo home tradition. Ratafià Praesidium is Praesidium from an accurate infusion process of excellent raw materials, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Praesidium wine and black cherries, some of which are found near our vineyards, characterized by an intense aroma and a warm body. The alcohol content is 26.5% vol.
