Ratafià is a liqueur that has always been present in the Abruzzo home tradition. Ratafià Praesidium is Praesidium from an accurate infusion process of excellent raw materials, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Praesidium wine and black cherries, some of which are found near our vineyards, characterized by an intense aroma and a warm body. The alcohol content is 26.5% vol.

The origin of the name
The word ratafià comes from the Latin expression ut rata fiat, that is, let the deed be ratified. In the past, in fact, it was customary to conclude a notarial agreement by pronouncing this expression and toasting with a glass of liqueur made from wine and cherries.
Suggested pairings
We suggest consuming Ratafià Praesidium at the end of a meal. It is preferable to serve it fresh, at a temperature of 8-10 degrees. It is perfect with a good selection of chocolate, but it can also be eaten with dry pastries, ice creams, various desserts, especially those made with dark chocolate.
