Teroldego Rotaliano or "Gold of Tyrol" from a probable interpretation of the idiom "Tiroler Gold". The rulers of Austria, during their regency in Trentino, in fact considered this wine excellent both for its intense and deep colour, scented with raspberry and blackberry and for its full, round flavour, rightly acidic and free of tannins: precisely Gold of the Tyrol.
Moscato Rosa is a particularly vigorous variety which transforms into a production of about twenty quintals of grapes per hectare. The vigor of the plant causes floral abortion during flowering, sweet millerandage and bunch spinning with a drastic reduction in grape production. This result is further reduced according to the drying of the grapes on the plant, aimed at obtaining a higher sugar concentration.
The roots of this plant, here in Abruzzo, become La Genziana: a liqueur that is a panacea for digestion. The union between our passion and the desire to pay homage to the territory, has led us to create the Gentian of Cantina Strappelli .
Obtained from fully ripe grapes from a vineyard located on the hills of the Valdarno. The must is macerated with its skins at a low temperature and is subsequently processed fresh from fermentation in an artisanal distillery not far from the cellar.
Acquavite di vinaccia di Recioto di Soave obtained by distilling the marc of grapes from the Soave hills used for the production of Recioto di Soave Classico. Left to age for a short period, it should be served young to capture the full, aristocratic flavours conveyed by the special method of vinification of the grapes.
