The word Ciroc comes from the combination of two French words: cime, which means top and roche which means rock. The word evokes the Gaillac region, home to France's highest grape varieties. Ciroc is a unique vodka from several points of view: firstly for the ingredients, secondly for the production process. It stands out from any other vodka because it is produced using exclusively French grapes: Mauzac Blanc (from the Gaillac district) and Ugni Blanc (Cognac region). The creation of this particular vodka then involves the cold maceration and fermentation of the grapes, techniques specific to the production of wine and not vodka. But vodka is part of the world of distillates and in fact in this case the preparation obtained is subjected to a series of distillations, subsequently grape alcohol is added and a final distillation is carried out, for a total of five steps (reported clearly in the bottle) in discontinuous copper stills. The result is a premium vodka, with a particularly soft and rounded taste on the palate that remains dry at the end of each sip.
