Type: Blended Canadian Whisky
Origin: Canada.
Alcohol by volume: 45
Appearance: Gold.
Smell: Rather fruity, with bananas and lots of grapes, grafted onto a substrate of vivid cereals, among which rye dominates, vanilla in fair quantities.
However, I find the initial alcoholic note rather pungent, fortunately it fades after a quarter of an hour of oxygenation.
Smell was overall "honest", albeit very simple.
Palate: Light-bodied, it is rather soft, with vanilla well blended with spicy notes and intense rye.
Discreet pepper, delicate almond and pleasant nutmeg. However, very rapid evolution, a great shame.
Finish: Short, nutmeg, vanilla, pepper, rye.
