Here we are at the second wine of the Oltremare line, born with the aim of offering the young public an immediate and pleasant product. In reality, apart from the commercial motivation, I would say that if a wine is good we can all appreciate it, without distinction. Rosato 2020 has already shown that the approach is the right one, the fact of also proposing the red version of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo vinified and aged only in steel, confirms the desire to give a very specific style to these two wines, played on captivating aromas, moderate alcohol content and balanced energy to the taste. They say that the color also plays its part, here a beautiful lively and deep ruby, while the fragrant range gives notes of rose, strawberry, cherry, blackberry, blueberry and a subtle shade of red orange. The taste shows all the expressive thrust of Montepulciano, with a freshness comparable to that of a white, the fruity charge is full and enriched with nuances of cocoa and licorice, the tannin has that slight bite that serves to remind us that it is not a " vinello ”, which does not last a year and which at the table can also hold dishes of a certain structure and fatness.
