NOS Teroldego Rotaliano DOC Riserva 2012 Magnum - Mezzacorona

This wine comes from the deep knowledge of the Teroldego Rotaliano that Mezzacorona has been cultivating for over a century in the homonymous plain. With the "no added sulphites" project, Mezzacorona presents a Teroldego Rotaliano obtained from grapes of excellent quality, with a high level of health and maturation, so as to be able to completely eliminate the use of sulfur in all its forms and in every phase of the processing of grapes and wine. Crucial aspect to achieve this goal is the careful and scrupulous daily management of the vineyards performed by our members, who bring grapes at complete aromatic and polyphenolic ripeness and in perfect health, a fundamental and critical requirement for this type of wine.The grapes harvested are perfectly intact, the vinification and aging are carried out under strict control of our oenologists exclusively in stainless steel containers , allowing to obtain a fruity, original Teroldego, pure expression of this variety ty. During the vinification phase, much attention is paid to the activation time of the fermentation. A quick start reduces the risks of microbiological and oxidative attacks and does not make the addition of sulfur dioxide necessary. During refinement and decanting, the wine is protected from contact with oxygen by natural techniques and without the use of sulfur, simply through the use of inert gases (nitrogen) which allow to preserve the fragrance of the Teroldego fruit without alter its organoleptic profile.
