Historic red wine from the Allegrini winery, La Poja takes its name from the historic company vineyard, planted in 1979, 100% from Corvina Veronese grapes. Here the soil is predominantly calcareous, rich in skeleton and almost dazzling for the whiteness of the calcareous stones. On these 3 hectares the highly qualitative viticulture delivers perfectly ripe grapes with great personality. The harvest is entirely manual, with a selection already in the vineyard and generally takes place at the end of October to obtain a slight overripeness of the grapes on the vine; the maturation takes place for 20 months in new Allier barriques plus 10 months in the bottle. After more than 4 years of production, La Poja presents itself in all its splendor, that of a great wine, full-bodied and crunchy, with a broad and promising breadth.
