Denomination Venezia Giulia IGT – KANTE Agricultural Company. Grapes and Vineyard It is obtained from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, harvested by hand. Vigna It is located at an average altitude of 250 m slm level, in the Trieste Karst, in an area characterized by strong temperature changes, on red earth and calcareous rock characterized by strong drainage. With a planting density of 5,500 plants per hectare, a yield of 1 kg per plant and a single Guyot training system, a symbol of the winery's native research for 20 years. In the Cellar Maceration for 3 weeks, first refinement for 24 months in new and almost new French oak barriques, subsequent refinement for 12 months in 25hl barrels. Alcohol content 12%. Climatic trend An excellent vintage characterized by a hot spring, which led to an early budding, a summer with regular rainfall, beautiful and dry weather during the harvest period. Tasting In the glass it shows a ruby red colour. An international wine which in this case becomes a true expression of the territory, the Karst where it finds its ideal terroir. At the moment of tasting, notes of wild berries, aromatic herbs, toasting with characteristics of marked minerality and corresponding balsamic notes are perceived even in the closing phase.
