Organoleptic characteristics: View: intense dark red with violet reflections Smell: fruity with hints of plum jam, blackberries and black cherries Taste: full harmonious with long persistence.
Production areas: hills of the province of Chieti (Italy). Vineyards: Martelli. Altitude: 167 slm Training system: Tent. Grape variety: Montepulciano. Density per hectare: 1800 vines. Average plant production: 6 kg. Grape yield: 140 quintals, wine 95 hl/ha. Terrain: mainly gravel. Harvest period: 20-Sept. – 20-Oct. Type of wine: Red. Vinification: the bunches, destemmed, after the addition of selected yeasts are left to ferment in stainless steel tanks; the floating cap created by the skins is kept continuously wet. At the end of fermentation, after 7-8 days, the spraying of the skins continues for another 8-10 days, in order to extract all the useful substances. Refinement: in stainless steel tanks for 6-8 months. Alcohol content: 13% vol. Serving temperature: 18/20°C 750ml size Allergens: sulphites
