Hebo di Petra is a Tuscan red wine born from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese grapes, vinified with indigenous yeasts and aged for at least 12 months in wood. It has an intense ruby red color and opens up a bouquet of violet and black cherry, with Mediterranean and spicy hints. On the palate it is surprising for its balance between body and mineral freshness, to close with a fruity persistence
Hebo wine is born in the splendid vineyards of the Petra company, located on the iron hills of the Val di Cornia, in Tuscany. The name of this product derives from the denomination of an Etruscan settlement of very ancient origin, Ebo. It is produced with an assembly of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese grapes, harvested manually when fully ripe. The fermentation process is carried out in steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After this stage, the wine is aged in Slavonian oak barrels and to a small extent in barriques for about 10-12 months. A period of refinement in the bottle follows. It has a clear ruby red colour. In the olfactory analysis the fruity component is the master, with evident notes ranging from small red fruits, cherry and finally blueberry. In the mouth it offers a fresh and well-structured flavour, thanks to the delicious harmony between tannins and acidity. The finish is sapid, with sensations of blackberry and dried fruit. Perfect to accompany with grilled red meats and aged cheeses.
