The Rosso di Montalcino wine undergoes the same treatments as the Brunello di Montalcino wine. As the main difference, it is released for consumption after a year of aging in barrels; does not undergo physical / chemical treatments. - It can be consumed throughout the meal, combined with first courses and meat-based dishes, or in any case with more delicate foods.
Grapes Sangiovese (Brunello) 100% Fermentation The grapes are fermented for over 20 days in wooden vats Refinement Aged for about a year in large Slavonian oak barrels. Color intense ruby red. Odor vinous, hints of fruit such as plum, currant, strawberry. Taste ample, fresh, savory. Hints of plum, cherry and raspberry. Food pairings It can be consumed throughout the meal, combined with first courses and meat-based dishes, or in any case with more delicate foods. Service temperature serve at 16-18° C.
