It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and then the wine is aged in barrique for 24 months, before being bottled. It is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with hints of red berries, enriched by pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is full and pleasantly full-bodied, with velvety tannins.
