Biondi Santi's Brunello has an elegant and deep intense ruby red, with garnet nuances. On the nose it is a concentration of emotions, cherry, currant, violet, strawberry, plum and berries blend with magnificent balsamic, undergrowth, vanilla, mint, pepper, liquorice and tobacco fragrances, combining wonderfully with the continuation of aging . When tasted, it is a majestic and classy Brunello, with astonishing balance, depth and strength, but with an indistinguishable freshness, composed not only of a lively acidity, but of saline and blood traces, in perfect harmony with a very dense tannin, soft and silky. The Brunello di Montalcino from "Tenuta Greppo" by Biondi Santi is vinified in vitrified concrete containers, with the use of indigenous yeasts.
