Produced with grapes from vineyards of the companies of Gaville (Florence) and Chianciano/Montepulciano (Siena), the latter planted at high density and considered by us to be particularly happy and suitable for producing great wines.
Winemaking technique | Fermentation took place in separate containers according to the origin of the grapes, with maceration times on the skins of 10 and 15 days and temperatures from 25 to 29°C. |
Refinement | In spring, after the malolactic fermentation, the wine is blended into a single body and placed in small oak barrels where it remains for a long time. |
Color | Ruby red, with light orange hues. |
Perfume | Clean and intense, with complex sensations of spices, licorice, vanilla and cherry. |
Taste | Full, rich and persistent with remarkable structure and elegance. |
