The Brunello di Montalcino Poggio alle Mura del Castello Banfi is born in vineyards located between the Orcia and Ombrone rivers, on the southern side of the municipality of Montalcino, an exclusive territory for tradition and wine culture. It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 27-29 ° C for about 12 days. Subsequently the wine is aged in barrique for 2 years and for a further 12 months in the bottle. It is characterized by a mauve red color. The nose opens with a complex bouquet, with elegant plum and cherry aromas, enriched by pleasant hints of blackberries and raspberry and nuances of chocolate, vanilla and licorice. On the palate it is soft and tonic, with sweet and gentle tannins.
