The Dora Sarchese winery produces about 2000 bottles of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Lurré wine, whose well-balanced organoleptic characteristics and gustatory balance make it one of the most interesting wines of the appellation.
Production area: inland Ortona, localities Caldari, Crecchio and Arielli Soil: basically clayey, slightly calcareous Grape variety: red berry grapes Harvest - Vinification: manual harvesting of the grapes to phenolic ripeness from the end of September to the first ten days of October. Destemming-crushing vinification with maceration in two vinificators with different systems, maceration-fermentation of the pressed grapes at a controlled temperature. Maturation of the wine in steel barrels for at least 6 months conditioned to rest in the bottle for a few months. Organoleptic characteristics: intense ruby red color. On the nose intense sensation of morello cherry and other red berry fruit with vegetal notes. Harmonious in taste, with a remarkable structure, enveloping and with a pleasant rusticity.
