Production area

In the heart of the province of Chieti, between the Maiella National Park and the Adriatic Sea.

Land

Hilly, with an average altitude of 230 meters above sea level, mainly clayey limestone.

Period of marketing

It is established by the oenologist in relation to the optimal characteristics of the product. In any case, not before the month of April / May of the year following that of vinification.

Vinification and aging

Traditional in red with maceration of the skins at a controlled temperature in stainless steel vats.

Organoleptic characteristics

Ruby red color. Aromas of ripe red fruit and fine spicy notes, with hints of plum and tobacco. With a good structure, it is soft, balanced and persistent.

Food pairings

It excels with appetizers, first courses in red sauce, second courses based on meat, semi-aged cheeses.
