Grape variety: Sangiovese. Production area: Province of Chieti. Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand and transported to the cellar, where the destemming takes place. Subsequently they are cooled to about 5 ° C for 48-72 hours and placed in steel tanks. Thus begins the alcoholic fermentation, which lasts for 12-13 days at a temperature of 22-23 ° C, under an atmosphere of inert gas. During maceration the cap of marc is moved as little as possible with the aim of obtaining a particularly soft wine. Aging continues in steel and American wood barrels for 4/6 months. Idea del Vino: Wine for young, fairly experienced consumers looking for products with a great price / quality ratio. Sensory characteristics: Purple red color, with an intense perfume with aromas of black cherry, blackberry, plum and sweet notes of wood. Medium-bodied and very soft wine. Ready to drink wine. Food matches: Wine for the whole meal, excellent with rich first courses, also good as an aperitif. Serving temperature: about 16-18 ° C.
