Our vineyards are immersed in a hilly area with an ancient wine vocation, which extends from the slopes of Mount Majella to the Adriatic Sea. The favorable microclimate and the particular composition of these soils give life to a unique and complex red, with a beautiful structure. Raised in precious woods, it is full of aromas and flavors that we will find in every bottle.
Altitude of the vineyards: 432 meters above sea level Exposure: the vineyards enjoy an excellent south-east, south, south-west, north-west exposure Soil: clayey limestone of medium texture, basically compact Grapes: 100% Montepulciano Number of vines per hectare: from 3,600 to 8,000 Yield: 80-100 q / ha Harvest: 15-30 October, with manual harvest Fermentation: in stainless steel vats from 70 to 150 hl. with daily punching down at a controlled temperature for 15-18 days Elevation: in French oak woods of different capacities (from 2.25 to 50 hl) for 12 months Refinement: in bottle for at least 6 months
